And again he looked away. Honestly, there was nothing wrong with looking. Seajay had to be embarrassed for a reason, right? And in Orion's mind, that stemmed from a kind of conflict. It ran deeper than 'to look' or 'not to look', obviously, but it still tied in. Or so he supposed. He just thought about it as he waited for Seajay's answer. Sure enough, it came. Not exactly the most succinct answer by any means. But he was going on, saying that they were just friends and nothing more than that...and that he shouldn't look.
Once again, that hint of a smile touched his lips. "You say you shouldn't look at me like that, but you never mentioned that you didn't want to look at me like that way." It was true, there'd been no mention of that. "Anyone can want to do something that they shouldn't. But it comes back down to the fact that they want to." Orion shrugged a little bit, glancing back over at Seajay.
"You know...I sometimes find myself looking at you. Maybe I should and maybe I shouldn't, but the bottom line is there's something in me that wants to." He spoke simply, and there wasn't a hint of untruth in his words.
