My boss just told me that I'm not using this enough, it's important to stay relevant and on top of trends. He's right of course, I am just never sure what I should say. I don't really think anyone wants to hear about my day to day life running errands and making sure there are no mistakes in documents.

Well, I guess that was a start right?

My youngest daughter, for whatever reason, decided that it was a good idea to take the heads of her fashion dolls off of their bodies and then haphazardly cut the decapitated heads' hair off. Then her little brother decided to copy the idea. But since he doesn't have dolls like that of his sister, he decided to cut off the head of his teddy bear. And then cried like the world was ending when he couldn't re-attach the head. Thankfully, Seppo was able to regain his head. Felicity's dolls, on the other hand, are still lacking their heads.

As always, I'm heading back to Hogwarts tomorrow to finalise my lesson plans and get things set up for the first week of classes. It'll be the first year in as many as I can remember that none of my children will be my students.

It's been awfully quiet since we can't see our children's posts anymore. And the responses to questions like this are always interesting and enlightening, I figure it's time to pose a general question to the group.

What object from your childhood do you wish you still had?

I had a little plush Krup as a little girl and I'd take it with me everywhere. When I was six, my mother and I went to Diagon Alley for potion supplies and I left it in a restroom. By the time I realized it was gone, it had been just long enough for it to not be there anymore.

My chair has been located and now there's one less intern at the Prophet.

Kidding. They won't let me fire people for that.

Son of a fucking bitch....so help me if so much as ONE person tries to get between me and my son at Mungo's...

I understand that this is what Carter wants to do. That it's his calling. I accept that that means he will be injured and hurt. I have come to terms with the fact that my children are no longer small, that I can't protect them from everything.

However - when it does happen so fucking help me if you try and keep me from them. I have no shame about who I step on to get to their side. I am not going to sign in, and if you want parchment filled out then you need to give it to me when I am in their room. No I am not leaving at the close of visiting hours. So don't ask.

One of these days I am going to get an owl from Mungo's and it's going to be good news. I swear to fucking Salazar I will, and when I do it's going to possibly make me fall over in shock.

Filtered to the Flint Clan

Carter is hurt. He is at Mungo's. I am on my way there. But I was at a meeting in muggle London and it's going to take me a bit longer than I would like. If either of you get there first - you might want to warn them I am incoming. It might save a few trampled orderlies.

I have had one of these tablets laying around the house for a few days, I have been meaning to use it, but with my writing and my publisher contacting me about the book release, it's the first time I get to use it. Anyways, Liv has been trying to walk today. It is cute to say the least, though most times she falls as soon as she lets go of the coffee table. She's a persistent one though, I will say that much. Can't believe she is almost one though. She's growing up so fast.

And if all goes to plan, my book should be out on the shelves by mid-September. I am honestly having mixed emotions, because I have never had a book published before, so it's a new experience. One that I am looking forward to. Hopefully people don't find the book horrible. But I just won't let myself think on that. Not now

So I've been on these things for awhile now but I never know what to say - I still but I do happen to have the time now so I thought I'd pop in. It's one of those graveyard shift nights where the ward is quiet and everyone is sleeping. I don't tend to work nights anymore but sometimes you find yourself working a few here and there and you start to remember what it was like when you're first starting out and you're dreading the night shift. It's actually not so bad once you get the hang of it. I think I actually like the night shift more than the others to be honest. I would like another cup of coffee though, that would be nice.

(Anyone trainees working tonight who happens to grab me one may find themselves with some cool cases when they're on my rotations. Shhh, no telling.)

At my publicist's suggestion, I've picked up one of these tablets at long last. I don't know what I was waiting for, it's excellent to be able to send a message quickly to my kids. Clarence was very excited too, he's had tablets for years, of course, though muggle ones. He's wondering when we'll have Angry Birds on here.

For those that have kids (or who just like to read juvenile fictions. Nothing wrong with that), my 6th year series of Animagus Avengers launches December 16th, just in time for the hols. I'm sure a lot of you are wondering what Clarisse, Janelle, Denise and Susana will be up to this year! You'll have to read to find out!

I guess I've just been focused on work. I don't really pay that much attention to these things, but my co-worker was telling me that I was missing a lot of entertainment... So I guess I'm here now?

I've had one of these contraptions for a few weeks now and have been quite the creepy lurker in them, so I figured that it was about time I sat down and actually used it for its intended purpose. There seem to be a lot of familiar names flitting about on here and I know that these tablets have had their own string of glitches, but I reckon that's just how these things work out when they first come out. New technologies and all of that nonsense.

That said, I seem to have a grasp on how they work and that's always a plus. It makes me feel like perhaps I'm still sprightly enough for technology. Or, at the very least, they've dumbed it down enough for someone like me to be able to handle.

Also of vague importance, this is Justin Finch-Fletchley.

It's 9 o' clock; do your parents know where you are? It seems as if they do know, if you chose to publicly mention it on the network.

It's 9 o'clock, the Leaky is relatively quiet, and I'm not on the night shift this week. It's a quick change, but it was the right thing for them to do after all of the extra hours of work we did with the dragon business.

Custard tarts and chips have never been so amazing together.
