Hera understood the desperation, her sister had always been a tad overprotective of her oldest, but to be without ones children was difficult. She longed for Ares and had she found out one of them (including Zeus) was holding out on the whereabouts of her eldest son she would have been much the same.
Though Demeter was returning to Poseidon, taking solace from him, she still met her eye and gave her a small smile, a look of understanding that she hoped Demeter would understand.
Which was quickly retrieved at the mention of their father. Everything about Hera changed, she was not open and empathetic, but fierce and harsh. Hera's feeling on Cronus had not changed for the thousand years they had been gone. "I agree with Poseidon, I do not understand how you Hades could of all offer forgiveness when you of all of us here were the longest in his gastro-prison. I have not forgotten and he has even said to me that were he to gain power again he has little doubt he would become uncontrollable with that rage.
"Who is to say that he will not want that power again? Is his word enough?" She was nearly spitting the words, furious with their father's sudden need to treat them as his children again when he had done nothing but tortured them in their previous lives.
