"Hopefully she will come to the gathering and then we will all have our chances to speak with her, separately." He stood straighter. "Come. I'm sure my wife's food grows cold." Was a transparent change of topic, but with a compelling nudge to it that wasn't purely Zeus - but partially Zeus' power as well.
"We have much to discuss, in any case. Cronus, for one. And the controversy he has caused. Obviously we cannot simply lock ourselves off from other pantheons..."
And hopefully that would be a compelling enough topic to shift everyone away from arguing about Persephone for now.
