The hug surprised her and at first she tensed but then instict seemed to come over her. Her arms wrapped around Hera and her body relaxed, melting into the affection. This was what it was to have a sister and flits of images came over her. She smiled, smirking nearly, at the searching gaze. "It is me, Hera," she assured her, with a small squeeze of her hand. "Although I understand I've changed somewhat." The fact did not bother Demeter. Each crop was different and she had lived a new life with Alice.
Zeus may have been in a woman's body but he commanded every bit of elegance that she had admired in him during their time. "So formal Zeus," she responded, almost teasing. Her hand opposite move to the side of his neck, gripping the now slender collum affectionately. A familiar gesture.
"Hestia-" she looked around, realizing that the other was missing. "Where is she?"
Poseidon's words about setting aside their issues seemed aimed directly at her. She couldn't help the way her eyes flicked to Hades although she did avoid crossing her arms. Having him so close- and Zeus as well- made her ever more aware that Persephone was out there somewhere.
