Who: Tobias and Roger [Psyche and Eros]
What: Somehow Tobias ends up agreeing to a sort of date but not with a man, a new thing for him. Secretly, Psyche knows what is happening here but is trying to let Tobias get used to Eros being said man.
Where: Central Park
When: Monday, 1pm

He was an idiot. A completely stupid, dumb as hell, idiot. He had been a fairly intuitive man even before Psyche but he had also chosen to act oblivious for the sake of getting what he wanted and playing dumb games with women he wanted to fuck. Now he felt stupid in the sense that he had been really oblivious to the flirting the man was doing and the fact that somehow he had been flirting back. It was just easy though. He couldn't explain why and anytime he looked inwardly to Psyche for answers she kept quiet or simply said, I don't either. Sometimes it just is.

Tobias wasn't at all the kind of man who feared those who were gay, either. He was comfortable with others choosing that kind of lifestyle but never once did it cross his mind to think it'd be something he'd have to choose or would want to choose. Like with Eros, he had assumed that when Eros appeared it would be conveniently in the body of a smokin' hot redhead or something. He didn't ever dream it'd be in the body of an older, fit, male redhead. He also didn't think it'd be that pleasing to listen to an English guy do a thick Southern accent.

He was confused and a little worried that Psyche wasn't liking that he was willing to meet with this man still but he tried to assure her that nothing would happen. He was straight, after all, or married. Both, somehow.

He arrived at the boat house at exact one, a backpack slung low over one shoulder. He wore dark jeans, a red plaid pearl snap shirt and he had stubble on his cheek that had grown darker since the last time he was in the park. He looked vaguely nervous as he waited, texting Roger to let him know he was the one in the red plaid shirt.

Eros' eyes nearly closed at the touch though he guided it, fighting the shudder that threatened to run down his spine as the fingers touched the still tender flesh and brushed through his hair. His gaze remained hooded as he got a hold of himself, mouth curving into a smile as he looked at the other man almost apologetically for holding on so long.

When Tobias lay back, it was an easy thing to stay propped and just look at him. His body was a lean sinew of muscles and grace, it reminded Eros of his mother's mortal consort, Adonis, and the love affair the Greeks had with the beautiful god. His eyes drank in the perfect form and caught on the hand that rested relaxed against his stomach. There was something enchanting about those hands, long fingers, groomed and smooth as if the skin had been pulled perfect taut over the bones. He would have killed for such graceful mortal hands.

Pulling his gaze away, eyes catching on the lips that were suddenly moving as he spoke, Eros' leaned back on his elbows and closed his eyes listening, imagining the pain such a thing must have caused him. Living the life many pictured in movies and books as the dream; a man of wealth and fame and sex and then to realize it was as empty as the real world said it would be and to be rejected by the people that should have loved you the most when you tried to explain that.

He knew what that was like, not from Roger, not in this new mortal life, but Aphrodite had not, refused to believe, her son's happiness could rest in a mortal girl. He had had the world, love literally bowed at his feet and he was willing to tie himself to one woman, even a mortal woman, for the sheer ecstasy she gave him. For a goddess that believed love was not so singular, it was a difficult concept to accept, even when forced too.

There were no words for him to say, it seemed Tobias had begun his own path to healing and Eros gave his own internal smile. It was a hard road to take, being alone, but he was proud Tobias was walking it. And now, if he accepted it, he would no longer have too.

The lazy smile on such a pristine face was too much, there was a reflection of Psyche in the sunned skin and a beauty unique that he was simply drawn. His body turned just enough and Eros leaned down to capture Tobias' lips in a kiss, affectionate and light regardless of the way it made his flesh raise and the connection seemed to ignite a fire in his soul.

It was something that neither Tobias or Psyche expected. Right out of left field came that sensation of a mouth warm on his and it shocked the boy still, save for the slight curl of long fingers clutching his own plaid shirt. It took everything Psyche had in her to not completely take over the mortal coil and do as she damned well pleased just then. It would have been glorious to do so but this was important, this moment could not yet be hers and she who had worked so hard for her right to have Eros as her husband would work through this one last task to have him again.

When his eyes were closed lips were just lips. He couldn't quite tell if it was a man who kissed him or a woman except that there was the slightest grit to the chin that touched his chin and he realized it was his stubble causing friction against Eros'. And there was the faintest taste of something sweet there too, which he soon realized was the ghost taste of a cookie he had only just eaten moments ago that remained on his mouth.

His last kiss had been a foolish one, with Abigail of all people. She had tasted like alcohol and he was sure the kiss they shared was sloppy. Before that? He could barely remember but he was again sure it too was sloppy and maybe lifeless. Not like that kiss, which sparked against his mouth and had Tobias' holding his breath well after it ended. He couldn't be sure how long he laid there, eyes closed and hand clutching his shirt but time didn't seem to move the same when someone gave you a kiss worth remembering.

He decided, just then, that he'd really like to return the favor. The hand that had been twisting into his shirt lifted up and slowly was lowered against the rough cheek of the older man. For a moment his dark eyes were opened, studying the face above his, and then they were shutting again as he lifted himself up just enough to capture that mouth against his. A kiss less light, certainly affectionate. There was a connection there and if it was because of Psyche he didn't care. Why should he? She had only brought him nothing but happiness.

It was meant to be short, he realized half way through he had promised Tobias it could remain a platonic lunch and yet before the sandwiches had even been unwrapped he was giving into his urges and felt, though his wife resided beneath the vessel, the very lecherous old man he had proclaimed he was not.

And yet, it was returned, skin touching, chins brushing, the short coarseness of unshaven hair causing a chill down his spine. He had been a fair faced god, unable to grow a beard unlike Zeus or the other Olympian men, it had been a strange thing to have to deal with in a mortal form, and more so deal with when kissing another man. Anteros had been as fair faced as he.

His chest curled and sung with a flurry of heady emotion and was desperate to move to slide over Tobias completely, to enjoy much more then a simple kiss, a once meant to be chaste kiss. Instead he lifted himself up, he needed to remember that Tobias was not used to such affections; he labelled himself as heterosexual and did not want to be too brash and scaring him away once again.

Eros was raising a hand to run through his hair when he was struck by the pose Tobias had remained in. It was inciting and pure all at once; it looked like the sort of slack expression he had been use to seeing on those that he had struck with an arrow and it had his heart thudding loud in his chest. Though nothing compared to when his eyes opened and caught Eros' gaze.

He saw beyond the mortal's soul, into the one that had buried herself to allow this interaction to happen naturally and he loved her all the more for it. Worst, or better yet, he was beginning to love Tobias for what he saw in his own soul. Perhaps that was an influence of his wife, but he did not care. Especially as he found his lips again occupied.

Only one other mortal had kissed him in such a way that sunk his soul into the depths of the heavens and he had little control in doing more than offering up the same passion he had given that last mortal. An arm dropped next to Tobias' head to brace himself above him, bending at the elbow to sink him back to the ground.

Tobias knew how to kiss someone so soundly that they'd feel it in every inch of their body, from head to toe until those toes curled. He was used to kissing girls that sighed against his mouth and clawed at his shirt to get to touch his skin. He was used to kissing someone and then fucking them senseless minutes later.

He was not used to kissing someone and leaving it at that. Not only were they in a public place, though, but this was entirely new for Tobias. He had never felt quite so attracted to someone for something beyond their looks and wealth. He had never felt attracted to a man. All notions of him being purely heterosexual were flying out the window when drew her teeth across Eros' bottom lip and invited his tongue into his mouth.

It couldn't last forever though, eventually air was needed for these mortal bodies so Tobias broke the kiss and with a hand no longer under his head he sank further down against the ground. That free hand had settled on Eros' bicep and Tobias was blinking slowly at the man as if waking from a dream.

"I could get used to it. It's new, but I could."

It was taking a much more involved turn then he had ever meant for it too, yet he couldn't find it in him to care much; his heart was attempting to burst from his chest as he was teased into a deeper kiss, head tilting to move more comfortably, elbow bending to bring him that much closer as his tongue was tentative to brush against his; invited yes, but he was still cautious.

Eros was nearly rolling down to rest rather on his elbow then his hand, ready to smother Tobias body with his own, clothes or not, park or not; he was engulfed in the taste of this man and the touch of his hair, his hand having found the dark tresses. He would have remained as such forever if he could have, but just as Tobias needed air, so did he and as his head dropped Eros remained in place, eyes closed as he breathed, a smirk crossing his features as he had to calm his heart and control his lungs.

With a chuckle his eyes opened and he looked down, raising up a little more for a bit more personal space, though did not sit up, as he spoke. "I am glad I haven't turned into a terrible kisser. Himeros made comments I was losing my touch in other ways."

That shy, and terribly nervous, expression flitted over Tobias' face again but this time he was grinning wide, had to turn his head to hide the color rising in his pale cheeks. He had never quite felt like a woman even when Psyche awoke in him but now, suddenly, he was sure he was acting a bit more feminine. There was something very overpowering about the masculinity of Roger but Tobias couldn't help but like it.

"Thank you," he turned his head back to lock eyes. "You're both treating me better than..."

Well, better than he knew others to be treating their vessels. It helped to be eased into these sort of things. Tobias hitched a knee up, pressed it against Eros' hip.

"You're both just treating me well and I appreciate it. I'm sorry I ran away the other day," his hand on Eros' bicep was gliding up until it was able to bury it's self into his soft curls.

Not able to hold back, he lifted a hand to brush a bent knuckle over the pinked cheek, brushing a lock of the dark hair from the stubbled jaw; smiling like mad. His fingers remained in the silkened hair, rolling a strand around them as he looked down at Tobias' adoringly.

"You are sharing a body with a god, that in of itself is a difficult task to handle. I do not blame you for it, though I will admit I panicked slightly and Himeros had to restrain me from going after you. All I had was your name, I feared I had lost you." As Tobias' hand moved over him, burying into his own hair, it was an easy thing to lean back down to press a soft kiss to his mouth. Short and sweet, for now.

"We will take this at your pace, darling. Whatever that may be."
