Theo did flirt too much. He also drank too much, partied too much, and got into trouble too much. He was a ‘much’ kind of guy, and Lucas was a modest and diminutive kind of guy—very submissive in character in contrast to Theo’s. Perhaps that was why they had gotten along so well. Lucas made up for what Theo didn’t posses, and Theo made up for the sense of recklessness and haste that Lucas lacked. But if he had to admit it, it concerned Theo sometimes how much Lucas had to be on his tail, and sometimes he didn’t quite know how to express his appreciation. He wasn’t very in-tune with his feelings, or liked the idea of emotions in general because it merely complicated things. So ultimately, he wasn’t going to question the antics or the foundation of their friendship. He’d merely bask in it.
He winced slightly. “I’ll admit. The moonshine wasn’t the best idea… but the makeshift ice rink was genius. I mean, it only took half an hour until the thing collapsed!” Taking a spoon, he shoveled out the ice cream and placed it backwards on his tongue, eating right out of the carton because really, there was no need for manners when you lived alone. “Just trying to make you feel better about it,” he said, peeling off the ice cream with his mouth and then shaking the spoon in Lucas’ direction. Licking the dough from the crook of his mouth, Theo sank into his couch and began to play the DVD, rolling his eyes. “No, it’s not another porn,” he said, making a face at him. “Just watch. By the time you finish it, you’ll be quoting the movie for the rest of your life. It’s so fetch.”
