Gray was more accustomed to people wandering into his office than one might think. He was very good with some of the more esoteric pieces that came through his office and people had picked up on that so much so that if they had a question, they'd often come to him for it. Lately, it had gotten more obvious; once he got his hands on a piece, he was good at figuring it out. So he didn't automatically look up from his work when the door opened, fingers still clicking away at the keys. When he did, it was at the sound of Abigail's voice and the words. Definitely the words.
Food?
Lucas perked right up at that notion, though he was just as surprised to see the waitress from the diner he frequented when he was out too late. It took him only a moment to place her face outside of work or even hanging out (he was good at that, at least) but then tried to take it in stride. People usually didn't visit him at work, either.
"Abigail?" An owlish blink and then a smile, though it was a little awkward and surprised. "Hey. What's up? How did you find the office?" And how did she get back here? It was like a maze in the back, after all.
