Σελήνη ([info]lostmoon) wrote in [info]themoderngods,
Selene let herself move to his lap and closed her eyes at his touch. There was home in his touch, those days when she had traveled the skies and spent the days with Oceanus in his home. She let herself enjoy the moment and looked up at him. She searched the familiar face of Thomas, his eyes different now that the god had taken over.

"I watch the moon traveling across the sky, see the world going by and I have no purpose. They don't need me, my own family does not need me." She closed her eyes again. "I have my powers back, I don't know how or why but everyday I realize that I can do things again. I've put people to sleep, given dreams, caused madness, and helped a coworker realize what she truly wanted in her heart.." She broke off and sighed. She reached up and swiped the tear from the corner of her eye. Selene wasn't sure she was depressed, she was just.. lost. She needed something more and without it, she was floundering.

"You make me feel young again, Erebus. You are a king without even trying." She laughed and met his dark gaze. She was light, the moon and he was darkness. She felt comfort in that darkness. It was almost like being cradled in it.
