“This all happened for a reason.” He said in a soft voice with what he hoped was a reassuring tone. “Patience, my old love, patience. We will discover all in time. We always have. We always will.” He dipped his head forward to brush his lips against hers before he pulled back again and he just smiled down at her.
At her question, he let his gaze look along her body, at least what little that was revealed to him. “She is pleasing on the eyes.” Thoth said as he gave her that soft smile. “She pleases Samuel too.” Did it matter? It made life easier but did it matter beyond that? He had a lot to consider, especially considering his wife and her unaware vessel. When she awoke, their personal lives would become very complicated.
He shifted his weight onto one arm as he reached a hand down to run his finger along her chest, and down between her breasts as he watched the effect it had on her clothing, as on her spirit. “And I can still see you, my partner.” His fingers tightened in that blouse for a moment before he tugged enough to pull the blouse out of her jeans. “Show her to me.” He demanded, though his voice was as soft as his smile. “I want to see all of her.”
