He didn’t shift when she moved to sit on his lap, and he didn’t attempt to stop that kiss. Instead, Thoth let himself enjoy it for several long moments, even Samuel didn’t grumble about it for long. The vessel’s soul didn’t because Thoth, while keeping control, changed the rules just enough so that Sam could feel everything his body did, and every touch there was. He knew the mortal would enjoy it, even if he grumbled about the method of it.
When he broke the kiss and leaned back against the couch, Thoth watched her for a moment. “Have you let her sleep with a god yet?” he asked with a soft smile as his hands began to move. One would slide up along her back, his fingertips caressing along her spine at her lower back. His other hand came down as his fingers played out against her inner thigh and he began to caress her there. “The one I allowed Samuel was primal in everything. I wonder if that was just her, or if it will be that way with you.” Oh, he was teasing now as those fingers moved up just a little further. “We shall have to test this out, Ma’at.”
He leaned up to brush his lips against her jaw, and he slowly moved toward her neck, before he leaned back again to let his eyes rest on her own. “There are ways in which only you know me, Ma’at. Not even Seshet.” Or any of the others. “Ways not even our vessels will ever understand.”
