In truth, Thoth’s sense of right and wrong differed from Samuel’s, and the two of them knew it. Thoth was much more willing to commit deeds that would offend even many gods if balance was served by it. Instead, he merely smirked in response to her comments and he arched an eyebrow. “She will find out eventually, Ma’at, and you will have an empty vessel on your hands.” He leaned over to put his bottle on the glass coffee table, before he came back to her side and just watched her for a long moment. “But, right now that is not something I wish to worry about.”

The universe put us back together for a reason, and sitting here trying to figure it out won’t help. Let us just enjoy the moment, for as long as it lasts.” A faint smirk then as well as he gave a soft chuckle. “I do not so much. But then, I travelled more than you. Greece was a beautiful land, as was Italy. Though, I do miss my city.”
