"I missed my companion, Thoth. You were an important part of my life and we shared so many things. To be plunged into darkness and awaken in a mortal girl. Alone and weak.." She broke off as she followed him to the couch where she curled into his side. "I thought I was going to live the term of her mortal life alone or only knowing a few Greek deities." She curled her lip, distaste evident. She hid it well from everyone but him. "I didn't think to ever see you, Ra, Seshet again."
She pushed away the emotional moodiness that had claimed her. She had him again and hopefully someday soon he would have Seshet. The world was beginning to feel right again. "A stripper?" She snorted her amusement. "A lawyer and a stripper. I know enough of the mortal world to see the humor in that." She had slid her feet out of the shoes and tucked her feet under her. "Be careful, that's all. If she is a god, she could be someone dangerous."
"Losing to him." That comment left a distaste in her mouth. She remembered bits and pieces but Ma'at had never joined in conflicts. Choosing to stay neutral but apparently that didn't work every time. "And from what I see in this world, the Christian god is still being followed and we are myths or stories."
