While she wandered the main area, Thoth walked into the kitchen to retrieve the bottle of water, and he walked back out into the main room. It would be purified water, the kind that really wasn’t much different than anything else, but ‘meant something’ to city dwellers. He had one for himself as well, and he watched her motions as she walked. He agreed with Samuel that this vessel was definitely pleasing on the eyes.
“It is a trait of most mortals. Samuel has 95% of his existence ordered, catalogued, archived and filed away. You wouldn’t be able to tell someone actually works at his desk in his office, it’s so neat and ordered.” Thoth’s lips curled into an amused smirk as he considered it. “Yet, he keeps his bedroom an absolute mess. Never makes the bed, never picks up his clothes unless he’s washing them.” He shook his head a little.
When she was next to him, and purring at him, he tilted his head slightly as he considered her. Though, he still had the bottled water in hands, he shifted slightly as he curved his arms around her waist and gave her a soft smile. “I have missed you, Ma’at.” He said in a soft voice, and the look in his eyes would show the truth of that. “Tell me what you want of me, and it is yours.”
