"My friend Julia was determined to find me a date.." She broke off and rolled her eyes. "I ended up watching her make an ass of herself on the dance floor." She broke off as the waitress approached. "Black with two sugars and two french vanilla coffee mates." She offered the waitress a bright smile, "Maybe a few extra sugars." Lucia had a sweet tooth, she loved sugar.
She shook his hand when the waitress left, Ma'at perking up from her silence as they touched. She knew a fellow god soul when she came across one, she still didn't have her full power but she could see things about people. Truths and lies that were hidden. Ma'at focused on that as she stared at Samuel. Lucia was unaware of the moments that passed as she stared at him, her brows furrowed in concentration. Ask him who he is. Ma'at could swore she knew him, the edge of familiarity was there. Almost tangible.
Lucia snapped out of her silence, her look sheepish. "Sorry." She really hated making herself look foolish in front of strangers but Ma'at would not allow her to hesitate or be put off for long. "I haven't met you unless you have come into the museum before but who are you?" Stop being so shy. I can sense his god soul. I cannot figure out who he is.. I know him. The last was said with certainty.
