“Well, that doesn’t sound like a whole lot of fun.” He said with a chuckle as he walked in behind her, and slide into the booth across from her. “Of course, I woke up with the hangover from hell myself.” He shook his head a little bit. When the waitress come by, in her little 50s server outfit, he ordered a pair of coffees. “Black for me, with a couple of sugars.” He then waited for her to say how she wanted it.
“Samuel.” He said as he held out a hand toward her before he tilted his head. “We haven’t met before, have we? I know how this is going to sound, but you seem very familiar, like we’ve met somewhere, but I can’t for the life of me remember.” The soul is awake within her, I can see that much. And balanced, in a way I have not seen since.. And for the briefest of moments, Samuel frowned as Thoth went silent. But the frown was gone in an instant.
