Adrian had been a long time soldier and saw things that weren't meant to be seen so he'd become quite skilled at multitasking, balancing the life of a hero, and a man blissfully engaged and a couple of cuddly little moose was easy compared to what he did for a living.
He offered both puppies a seated on his lap glad they weren't the combined 800 pounds of huge Thor said they'd be because it'd take every ounce of superhuman strength he had just to move them both! Fluffster of course was the first one to jump on him though he didn't budge. Einstein on the other hand was reluctant so Adrian calmly reassured him.
"It's okay little guy. I'm good at finding people, it's what I do. We'll find your Mama but I'll need your help to do it. When you see the picture that looks right nod but try and stay calm, and okay. I'm going to show you some colors, point out the ones that you saw on the bad guys and I'll draw based on your reactions, okay?"
He looked at Aria and smiled warmly, confident that they'd solve this problem and find Betty before Bruce got home. "We'll figure out what happened, Ari. I promise. And I'll make us all some chicken tonight. Sound good to you?"
The farmland, the trucks in the driveway and the overall layout of the huge land they owned made Adrian seem kinda like a modern day cowboy or a gunslinger. That was fine with him because he was living the dream with the woman he loved and together they were twice as strong.
