But he didn't put much stock in hope and hadn't for a long time, so he wasn't that surprised when the person came to a stop and spoke. He didn't recognise the voice but he recognised the face, looking up from the paper. It was Daisy Johnson, the Inhuman -- the SHIELD agent. He didn't want SHIELD on his radar any more than Stark, but she had been nice enough when they had talked the first time. He knew it was because she had no idea who he really was, otherwise she would be treating him a hell of a lot differently. All she saw was the war hero, the man with his name on that wall she'd told him about. A wall he would never see, because of HYDRA.
