Rose was never very good at drinking. It always seemed like something people did to excess rather than just a pint, at least when she went out with friends. So after the first few somewhat uncomfortable visits to the Leaky after work at her old shop, she'd struck up conversation with her old housemate Hannah, and now, a couple of years later, had come to regard her as a friend. Or perhaps a bit like the older sister she'd never had.
Still, it had somehow been too long since she'd stopped in just to say hello. At least since she'd left her last job (which wasn't all that long ago), but she thought it might have been before that as well. So when she saw her, she waved happily and went to join her. "Hannah!"
