Winter got to his feet and headed over to greet his guest, taking Delanei's hands in his own as he smiled brightly at the younger fae. "You look utterly delightful, Delanei! Such a marvellous dress! I feel unworthy of your radiant presence." One gloved hand released hers as he brought the other to his lips, kissing the knuckle. "And of course you aren't late. My other guests and I had a much shorter distance to travel than yourself, so it's only right that you be the last one to arrive. I do hope you found your way here easily from my instructions!"
He tucked Delanei's arm around his own and returned to the table with her, pulling out the empty chair so that she could take her place at the table. Only when she was sitting down did Winter return to his own seat. "I'm not sure if you're acquainted with anyone else, so apologies if these introductions seem unnecessary. This is George," he said, gesturing to Delanei's right side. "And next to him, Apollonia. To your left you have Marianne, and next to Marianne is my newest little friend and Marianne's precious ward, Claudia." Winter allowed his other guests to make their greetings to Delanei before continuing. "This is Delanei, a dear friend and the sister of a fellow royal. I hope you'll all make her feel very welcome at our table." The royal turned his attention to Delanei once more. "I'm afraid our table is a little smaller today, but Charles and Ingrid had already made plans for the day. I hope you don't mind."
