A tea party! It felt like such a long time since he'd last held one...at least one with other fae in attendance. Well, invited. Delanei hasn't turned up yet, and so many fae seemed to cancel on him last minute. Strange...
Since it was still too cold to sit outside Winter had decided to hold it in his own quarters. He wasn't entirely satisfied with the arrangement, but it would have to do for now; holding tea parties in public places was so much better, because it meant anyone could just pull up a chair. Just in case he received any curious visitors he'd left the doors to his chambers wide open. With any luck it would help Delanei find her way to the party too!
Sandwiches, scones and cakes littered the middle of the round table on fancy tiered trays. There were six chairs, each with a teacup and saucer in front of it, as well as a plate and accompanying fork for nibbles. Winter had placed the teapot near himself since he was host, two of his dolls sitting at either side of him (Apollonia and George to the left, his newest addition and Marianne to his right). Only one empty chair remained, waiting for Delanei.
Winter craned his neck slightly towards the open door, to see if there was any sign of his guest. "Delanei should be here any moment," he told the rest of his guests, hands folded over one another in his lap. "The invitation told her where to come, I'm sure she won't be long."
