The metal cylinder of the lightsaber tapped against her leg as she walked, her blue eyes looking at the exhibits of the museum with deep interest. Ordinarily no weapons were allowed within the museum, but the reputation of the Jedi was such that Ahsoka Tano had been waved through by the guards. Not that they need to have worried, the weapon was about as real as the rest of Ahsoka's fake appearance. The extra weight of the Togruta's montrals on her head felt strange, but the sensation of having things aligned differently wasn't unusual for a shapeshifter, even if this was her first time imitating one of this galaxy's alien species. But it wasn't just what she was copying but who that made this guise even more satisfying.
Nothing amused Gemini quite so much as dragging the reputation of someone virtuous through the mud and from what she'd seen on the holonet Ahsoka Tano fitted that description to a tee. She had first met the young version of the Jedi on the transport that brought her down to Naboo, and although they hadn't spoken, Gemini had certainly remembered her first alien. Then somehow through the peculiar mechanics of the Rift she had vanished and returned a decade older and Gemini had immediately spotted an opportunity. Ahsoka's younger appearance was now vacant so to speak and if she used it to commit crimes then the older version would still be discredited without the inconvenience of anyone questioning how two older Ahsoka's came to be running around. It was brilliant!
Gemini had already made several passes through the museum looking for things she liked. There were so many treasures here she was having trouble deciding which one she wanted the most. Several paintings had caught her eye, but they were too big to take easily, she needed something small and something had already caught her eye. It was an amulet, beautiful, very wearable and above all old. The gem glowed with an entrancing purple light, mounted in a silver chain that would look fantastic draped around her neck. The label said that it was precious, one of the museum's prize possessions, which made it all the more a must have item for her.
It was close to closing time now, and the number of people in the museum was steadily decreasing, it was time to make her move. Walking casually through the halls towards her goal, Ahsoka checked subtly for security before approaching her prize. With surprising strength for her small frame (but then she was a Jedi) Ahsoka punched the hardened glass case, smashing through it and grabbing the amulet that lay inside. Her face lighting up with a covetous smile, she took a second to admire the purple glow of the jewel in her hand before turning and running to the stairs, hurling herself up them two at a time
