Bellamy stormed from his own place in the Naboo village, sullen and irritated. The more distance he put between himself and his 'home', however, the more Bellamy's bitter mood seemed to fade away. Everything happened so quickly, he hadn't had time to truly look around and take this place in. The Satellite Station hadn't been such a shock - hell, for a moment, Bellamy had been convinced he somewhere found himself back on the Ark. It was a tin can just like the one he'd been born on. Like the one he'd fought so hard to escape. He hadn't truly believed he was somewhere else until he walked by a window and saw that the planet outside didn't look like Earth. Trading in one insane idea - being back on the destroyed Ark - for another - being in a different galaxy orbiting a different planet - had been harder than it seemed and Bellamy had checked out mentally for the rest of his time on the station. Even riding the transport down to the planet (Naboo) had been a blur - so of course he hadn't noticed Clarke or Raven's presence. It wasn't until Clarke had posted on the HoloNet that Bellamy realized either of the girls were here with him.
The mixed feelings he had over Clarke were so overwhelming that he'd forgotten their current predicament for a while. It hadn't mattered they were on a completely different planet in a completely different galaxy in a completely different time period. All that mattered was the frustration and the bitterness that had bubbled up unbidden at her presence. He understood why she left, but that hadn't made it any easier. Especially when she was still stubbornly devoted to that decision. It had been much easier talking to Raven, and while he had taken the minor victory that was Clarke agreeing to keep in touch, Bellamy found himself looking more forward to seeing a familiar face who was at least happy to see him as well.
As he walked through the town, Bellamy's thoughts were able to clear. Earth had been brilliantly green and beautiful in a wild sort of way - it had a sinister feel just as often as it had a peaceful one. But this place... it had a tranquil, idyllic sort of feeling - something Bellamy wasn't terribly familiar with. The buildings were beautiful, the people had been so pleasant. It was almost strange in how... nice it all seemed. It reminded him of some of the picturesque paintings he had seen in old history books. Bellamy felt a pang at the memory of flipping through glossy pages of the books he would take from the library - it made him think of Octavia. He hoped she was safe.
Arriving at the address Raven gave him, Bellamy took a moment longer to look around one more time. This place seemed safe enough, but they needed a plan and they needed to stay together. Bellamy had learned a long time ago not to trust something so good... not right away. At least he had people he knew here, he thought as he reached up and knocked on Raven's door. And, at the very least, at least one of them wanted to see him.
