Delilah glanced around in the silence that followed Sophie's small speech. Didn't anyone know him well? Everyone looked uncomfortable being there, and distinctly unhappy. Though she supposed that was normal for funerals. She wasn't thrilled herself. But she could tell poor Alex the priest was struggling a bit, and she would want more than two people to speak at her funeral. She cleared her throat softly and glanced around again. "He was very nice to me when I first got here," she said. Amazing to think that had only been a handful of days ago; though everyone there was pretty much still a stranger, she felt like she hadn't been home for ages. "I really ... appreciated that. He seemed like a really stand-up guy, and I am regretful I didn't get to know him better." There, that was ... really all she had.
