"Ah..." Alex paused, looking up at those assembled. "I want to take this time to tell everyone what I 'll remember of Quinn and that was his love of games. He made a chess set so we could play...we never finished the game. He wanted to make sure that we had something to do though other than work. Because he understood the adage about all work and no play. Does anyone want to say a few words? Anything?" He opened the floor to those who wanted to speak. Generally, this was not something he encouraged at funerals, at a traditional funeral mass it made the service too long and people usually ended up repeating each other, but here, amongst the few of them...it just seemed appropriate.
