Who The Rosiers. Where Nyx. When Late Friday night. What Evan stops by for a drink. Notes Incomplete
It was nearly midnight when Evan finally came to, awakening from the coma of work. The radio, which once was broadcasting the quidditch match between Ireland and England, was now softly playing piano concertos. The office may have been different, but the work remained the same. Now more than ever. He wasted days and nights behind this desk only to eventually leave it for just a short time to visit the vast empty estate. The most recent events seemed to have left a stain upon the place. So, he filled the place with echoing music of the piano in the hall... And think of her. She had been plaguing his mind ever since.
Regardless of everything going on between them and around them, he still found himself missing her, needing her, and wanting her. He had to see her again.
A quick glance at the clock he realised he still had time. It wouldn't take him long to eventually make it on the outside of his front office door. With wards set and the door locked, he made his leave for Nyx. Diagon was generally quiet by this time of the night with the occasional dodgy folk or stumbling intoxicated patrons. Tonight was no different. Although there were quite a few more drunk quidditch fans this evening, for obvious reasons. He enjoyed the short walk from his office to the bar in the warm evening air with light from both lanterns and various businesses illuminating the alley on his way. They hadn't been very far apart at all this whole time.
When he approached the door of Nyx, he hesitated a moment before finally making his way inside. He was greeted by a few familiar, yet surprised faces, giving them a smile and a nod in return. Despite the near closing time, Evan continued to casually make his way toward the bar, spotting a very attractive dark-haired bartender there. He chose the seat just behind her and sat down.
"Excusez moi mademoiselle," he said in a low smooth tone to gain the attention of the beautiful woman behind the bar. "J'espère qu'il n'est pas trop tard pour boire un verre."
