"The one and only." Julie grinned. She'd had a similar reaction when she'd noticed Jan show up on the network. She'd never met her, but she'd heard stories; everyone knew who Janet Van Dyne was, and it was amazing that she had a chance to meet her now. "Turns out she wasn't actually dead, either, she was just stuck in the microverse. Crazy, huh?" She wondered how happy Hank must have been to find her. He might have begun to move on with Tigra, but Julie knew he still cared about Jan. If it'd been Karolina stuck for years, she would've been thrilled to have her back, no matter what was going on in her love life. "Clubs are easy if you can find the ones that are 18 and up. There aren't too many, but there are some... enough that we can have fun. And this guy I know, he gets me in places. I'm pretty spoiled, to be honest." With TJ finding good gay-friendly 18 and up spots, and Howard paying people off at the door to ignore her age, Julie was going to be set for a while.
It was funny to her that only a couple months apart had her forgetting all sorts of stuff about her friends. She gave him a sympathetic smile and reached out to open the can for him. The poor guy. She had no idea how he managed to keep moving forward with such a good attitude when there were so many things that set him apart. He was one of the best guys she'd ever met; Jenny was a lucky girl.
"Coolest person? God, that's a hard question." Julie's nose scrunched up as she thought about it. It didn't take her long to come up with an answer. "Well, we went to see the Hobbit with Legolas and some of his elf friends. And then there's Buffy Summers. The Buffy Summers. We're volunteering to teach this class on modern culture to people who aren't from this time or this world. It's amazing. Like, we got Tony Stark to fly us and some of the students and a couple friends to D.C. to see the president's inauguration a few weeks ago. In his private jet."
