Question: Has anybody seen either Hope Summers or Meghan Gwynn around? Has the Tesseract taken them?
I need a cup of coffee. A big cup of coffee.

Are you still around?

Rehearsals are going fantastic, I'm really pleased with how the show's turning out. Could use an update from the set construction crew. Next week, we're going to start fitting for costumes.
However, we have a bit of a casting crisis here. Not long ago, the Tesseract took Asuna away, leaving us without a Princess Leia. Now I'm afraid that Meghan has also left. Because we really didn't have a whole bunch of people who auditioned, I didn't take into consider understudies. Megan was cast in various roles, but her main speaking part was for Guard One. I'm willing to jump into her roles, but Leia will be another problem, since I don't think I'd be able to pull off the cinnamon bun hair-do.
All joking aside, I'm very reluctant to recast the role of Leia from among our group, since everybody who auditioned for Leia has been cast in different roles and has been memorizing their lines and stage directions for a while. Shuffling people around will only leave a gap that needs to be filled, elsewhere. So, what I'm thinking of doing it finding somebody new. Please bear with me while adjustments are being made.
In the meantime, if the Tesseract tries to take you away, tell it to wait until after the production is finished!

I know we've just begun, but how are you enjoying Drama Class, so far?
Let's cut to the chase: this is sort of like throwing you into the deep end of the pool to teach you to swim, but how would you like to play the role of Princess Leia in our production of Star Wars Shakespeare? The actress who was cast in the role was taken away by the Tesseract, so there's a vacancy. Not only do I think you have the potential to take up the task, I have faith that you'll do amazing.
So, what do you say?
