I want to congratulate the winners of the Comptalia Games. I must admit that I was a bit hesitant when I saw that you were going forth with them again, after remembering the very good reasons the Roman Senate had banned them, but these were carried out with great decorum.

In other news, I suppose I am going to have to find a job. A thousand dollars lasts a long while when one does not need to eat, but it is certainly not an infinite amount.
