There were bits of her train of thought that he caught easily, such as the name Dimitri and some place called St. Vladimir's. He wasn't sure exactly what they meant but he didn't want to be too nosy and find out all that she was thinking of. Peter placed the weights down and stood for a moment, cracking his knuckles and surveying the room. Flight wasn't something he could test out in this room, nor did he have paint to see if he could still paint like Isaac. Regeneration might be his best bet. It'd be easy to break something and fix it easily enough.
There weren't too many people sparring. One of the guys looked way too big for him to take on - especially since the only fighting he'd ever done was done with superpowers - but there was a girl who looked to be about his size. He was certain she as probably leaps and bounds better than him at combat but he thought it was worth a shot. As nonchalantly as possible, Peter made his way towards Rose, an approachable smile on his face.
"I don't mean to bother you," he started out with. "I was just wondering if you'd be up for sparring? If not, tell me to buzz off and I will."
