I think I might have a memory from patient one that is near completed in reconstruction. By the end of the weekend we should have something that can be played back.

How have you been feeling, Cosima? The fires couldn't have been good for you.

Your patient is stabilized, with a rudimentary personality built to allow basic function. Likely you would have wanted me to kill them since your own attempts failed, but they present a possibility of recovering data related to your condition that is invaluable since it is unlikely you will have enough recollection or understanding of the procedures used on you to provide accurate input. This compounded with the fact that likely you will destroy any equipment before Rogers or the others are able to recover if for my study means patient one is invaluable from the data that could be mined from the procedure used on him, even as simply a disposable test subject that will allow us to better understand how to help you.
I'm not sure which is the crueler approach, yours or mine. It was a lot easier to understand whether any of this was worth the humanity when you were here. It was easier to remember that humanity is important, that I'd missed it.
Hopefully you'll inadvertently provide me with more information. I'd appreciate that.
