Who: Tatiana Ivashkov and Sydney Sage
When: Saturday, June 28, early afternoon
Where: A Russian/East European restaurant of Sydney's choosing
What: An interrogation, most likely.
Rating: PG, probably? Unless Tatiana actually kills her (jk, murder is for plebs).
Tatiana was of the mindset that if you're early, you're on time, if you're on time, you're late, and if you're late, you might as well not have bothered showing up at all. Tatiana was particularly early this morning, namely because she was eager to get this obligatory luncheon over with. To say that Tatiana had had a tiring past couple of days would be an understatement. On top of being thrust into another dimension, she was grappling with an existential crisis wrought by knowing the specific details and imminence of her death, and now, she had to deal with Adrian's star-crossed lover who, no matter how unintentionally, may very well catapult her nephew's life to shambles due to the highly unorthodox nature of their relationship. Before even meeting the girl, Tatiana was beginning to view this Sydney rather like she viewed this world they were in; inconvenient, irritating, but something she'd ultimately have to learn to accept, due to the lack of any viable alternative.
As Tatiana waited for Sydney's arrival, she really didn't no quite how this afternoon would go. Trying to break Rose and Adrian up hadn't worked, though, in that case, Tatiana had apparently been right in her assumption that Rose was no good for Adrian. She'd have to try a different approach here, and given how serious Adrian seemed about this human girl, it was possible she'd simply have to start gradually getting over her revulsion and reservation to the whole idea. Undoubtedly though, it was highly unlikely that Tatiana would be quite as soft with Sydney as she'd been with Adrian.
