Who: Jack Frost & Elsa
When: backdated to last night, 6/25
Where: The 13th floor!
What: Jack wants to show off.
Rating: G.
The minute Elsa agreed to meet him outside on the roof, Jack rushed up there to get ready. He'd been thinking about this moment ever since he saw the video Erin had showed him. He'd never met another person who could do anything remotely similar to what he could do, and once he realized that Elsa was the same way, the desire to make her see that she wasn't alone - that they weren't alone - was even stronger. Even though there was no guarantee that she'd ever show up, Jack wanted to be ready in case she ever did. And then she did. He could hardly contain his excitement - another person like him! - and he was full of so much nervous energy that he didn't know what to do with himself. Although he'd spent centuries watching people, he didn't really have a good grasp on what he was feeling. Someone else might have seen in him a boyish crush, but if they asked Jack, he'd say he genuinely wanted to make a friend. It was important to him that she knew she wasn't alone in the world, because he knew what that was like. For so long, he'd been alone too. He didn't know why he was there, he didn't know that he'd once had a family and that he'd once been loved, and no one believed in him. Though those days were in his past, Jack still remembered. Once he'd gotten outside, his hand lifted and ready to decorate the area with snow, he realized that she might not believe it was him if the snow was already there. He perched on the wall, dangling one leg over the side of the building. He'd just... wait, instead. |
