Wow. I had a bad case of home sickness, and apparently my magic loves to turn common things into hilarious spells. Home sickness was not fun, but thankfully the spell has broken and my finger isn't shot. Salem was a good cat and stayed in the apartment this time, I'll have to make him a lobster dinner or something later.

So now that I'm not sick...anyone willing to do an interview on their time here and how it has been being a refugee?

Hey, I'm really sorry I kind of vanished after you helped me find Salem. I meant to send you something for the help, and then I started hearing my aunt's voices and just crazy things. Thankfully it's all over now, but I still feel bad.

I can zap you something up, anything you'd like apparently - my once upon a time hardened rules seem to have gone out the window along with my version of reality. I just really hate feeling guilty.Just let me know!

That's okay. I didn't expect you to give me anything. Or zap me anything. How do you zap things? You probably mean with magic, but if it involves lasers, I think I've had quite enough of those

I just meant I wanted to do something nice in return, which I would still like to. Zapping is just shorthand for how I use my magic.

Oh. Well, there's not really anything I need.

... Except. Can you fix things with magic?

Of course! I mean, yeah! Sure! I'll try...couldn't break it more than it already is!

What is it?

It's a knife. A sort of special one.

And it's fairly well broken. If it doesn't work, it's fine. It's still some use to me as it is.

Special as in magical? Sometimes there can be conflicts with one type of magic melding with another--but I'm absolutely up for trying!

If you mean physically it's really broken, I can mend that pretty quickly. Actually, if nothing else I know I can at least do that much. Just swing my my place [apartment number/floor].

Yes, but I don't need you to fix the magical part. It's not something I need it for anymore. I'd just like it to be all in one piece.

I'll come by. Thank you, Sabrina.

Well...when my emotions are high, random things happen...like homesickness becomes a real sickness. It wasn't nearly as fun as when I had to literally talk to my heart. Okay, neither instance was really fun.

Oh yikes! I've never had that happen to me before. Sounds like you've had a lot of adventures with your powers. I tried to do a spell one time to figure out if I should marry the guy I was with, the spell literally brought my younger self and my really old future self into my present. I bet that if we went on an on about things that have happened to us, we would create a book.

Adventure is something I definitely haven't been lacking ever since my aunts told me I was a witch, that's for sure. Oh wow, I have yet to see my future self or talk to my past self--that seems a little freaky. I know when I first thought I was in love I had to go face The Council. Witches and mortals aren't supposed to mingle...which is hard for me being half mortal and all. Crazy rules.

You know, that's not such a bad idea really. Writing a book. We both like to write...

Oh yes, being a witch is certainly an adventure all in itself. Yeah, it was pretty freaky but it helped me with my decision in the end, even though it was the wrong decision because he ended up being the source of all evil, but we all make mistakes every now and then. Really? I was in a relationship with a couple of mortals, I mean they didn't really work out too well, but sometimes you have to go with your heart instead of your family and the crazy rules.

Yeah, I've turned into so many things, its really hard to count. I would love to write an adventure book about what my sisters and I have gone through and all the crazy things that we got turned into. Have you been turned into anything?

I think the one real lesson that comes up over and over, for me anyway, is that you have to trust yourself before anything else. Your heart, intuition, whatever you need to call it at the time...my Aunts helped me figure that out pretty quickly, luckily.

Besides, the whole mortal rule is stupid.

I can't say I've been turned into anything really. My cousin had this obsession with putting people she didn't like into jars...and she sort of turned me into a doll once, but other than that...nope. Just a lot of other weird and random issues.

Hey that is a good lesson. Your aunts seem to be very wise in the aspect of life and lessons.

It really is, we never had a rule like that. In fact my dad is not a witch and we all turned out just fine.

Oh well, believe me you didn't miss anything. But lets just say that if I could have, I would have traded lives with you. I mean some stuff was pretty cool that I was turned into, but at other times, it was just really annoying.

I second my sister that I've got to know what sorts of spells. I'm also glad that that sort of thing, hasn't happened to me.

I didn't know Phoebe had a sister! More witches, makes me happy on a comforting type level. Well, there was this time I was heartbroken and couldn't understand why, so my aunt helped me talk to my heart to figure it out. I've had to split myself apart, put myself together, got turned into a doll by my wicked little cousin...the list goes on and on really.

She (and I!) have another younger, half-sister named Paige whose here as well. I'm Piper, the oldest of the lot. Wow! I've had similar things but probably not quite so literal. Though with us, using magic for personal use instead of for the greater good sometimes comes with consequences. Have you always known you were a witch?

Paige, I talked to a Paige the first day I was here. I'm digging the P names, that's really cute.

Consequences come with certain forms of magic for me too, but now that you say that, our magic is pretty self fulfilling. No, I didn't know witches even existed. I was sent to live with my aunts when I turned sixteen so they could teach me. According to The Council's rules I wouldn't be allowed to see my mom for years, or she'd turn into a very literal ball of wax, all because she's mortal. So my aunts sprung the news on me on my sixteenth birthday and it's been a ride since.

Have you guys...always known?

Thanks. You probably talked to her then. I don't think there is another Paige here.

Your Council sounds a bit like our Elders, although our mortal dad could see us without that risk. That must have been awful. If she were to show up here, do you think you'd be able to see her?

No. Our grandmother bound our powers when we were still too young to remember having them. We found out about six months after she passed when Phoebe read from our Book of Shadows.

None of the rules seem to be sticking here, so if she showed up I think we could see each other without the risk. Sadly I'm sort of used to just hoping to see her, it's okay though. At least my dad is in my book still...on a loop...but I can see/hear him.

That had to be a shock! I thought being told in passing over pancakes was a shock, I can't imagine going through that sort of thing alone. Or at random! You guys must be really close to have been able to go through that sort of transition together.

I haven't tried any spells here, but back home we were able to summon our grandmother from time to time when we really needed her. I sometimes watch our show Charmed when I'm feeling homesick.

It was. The first day we had our powers, I froze the executive chef that I was trying to impress with my cooking so I could get a job. Then my boyfriend turned out to be a warlock and I froze him when he tried to kill me. We also weren't all that close at the start. We had an older sister, Prue and she died about four years after we found out and before we found out that Paige was our sister. Anyway, Prue and Phoebe never got along until we became witches and we all grew closer together afterwards. Same with Paige. We weren't close at first and with time, we grew closer.

Were your aunts helpful in your transition? And what's it like to have a dad who lives in a book?

Why?! I mean, not to be nosy, but that was like the first thing I made sure still worked when I got here. Granted I had to find my cat and magic was just the easiest way since he was going around scaring everyone on the first floor. You're the only person I've heard of watching their show for comfort...I don't know where I'm from. No one has said anything and I'm too freaked out to find out for myself if I'm from a book, movie, or TV. The concept alone is enough to give me palpitations.

That's...amazing. I thought my life had taken some hectic turns. I'm really sorry about your sister, Prue, that had to be...for lack of better words right now, hard. I can't imagine.

They are still great, they've helped me through a lot. I wouldn't know anything if it wasn't for them. My dad doesn't live in a book, exactly. We sort of use everyday objects for communication purposes and he happens to be in the index of my magic book. Honestly, it's was hard to get used to, but I'm glad that's where he decided to imprint himself.

Oh no! I meant in regards to summoning my grandmother. When I first arrived, I was the only one here and I cast a lost witch spell several times. I've done other spells too and I use my magic a lot because I can freeze things and it comes in handy. And there only certain episodes that I watched. There are eight season to our show, I don't think I could sit through the whole thing again. Weirdly, the final episode a lot because I know everyone's okay in the end. When I first arrived, I watched the whole thing and made a Book of Shadows since it didn't come with me and sadly, neither of my sisters.

I am glad that my show is over. There are several people here with shows still on and they watch it. I couldn't do that. You haven't had anyone come up to you and freak you out yet? Or you call you by a different name?

It was extremely hard at first and I was angry with her, but it's okay now. I still miss her and wish she were here and it'd be amazing if she showed up here one day.

That sounds nice and convenient. I think everything about being a witch is hard to get used to.

Oh! That makes a lot of sense now. Maybe I'll look into where I'm from...I'd hate to find out it's still a current show, I have to agree with you there.

Someone did call me Clarissa on the streets, but apologized and walked away when I just looked confused and let them know my name wasn't Clarissa. Pretty name though.

It would be convenient if he picked up and stopped giving me his, "I'm out right now," recording. Oh well. At least Salem is here with me, I think I'd be a little lost without him right now.
