Nothing like waking up from a nap to a giant dog face staring at you while you slept.

[Filtered to Renee]

Uniforms having to chase off the gawkers? I know we've uniforms on the ground there.

[Cell Five]

So that case we worked last month, the shredded burglar. Looks like the guy has been a hell of a lot more active.

I do not have a giant dog face.

[Ash]
I think it's mostly been cleaned up since Friday. Guess we're just lucky more people don't read the paper.

There's no right response to that.

[Renee]

Well reading is for chumps. People are men of action or whatever.

If there is a killer going after criminals, if he thinks other vigilantes are too then it's not going to be pretty.

Probably not.

But apparently dogs forget everything they learn in obedience school over the summer just like people!

[Ash]
So I guess the rumor that the feds are keeping an eye on this is a bit more than just that.

No, I mean, this guy seems really good from what the crime lab guys are saying. I don't want to know who he can go up against or not.

Obedience class? I'm pretty sure he has no idea what that is.

[Renee]

Definitely trying to edge into territory.

He's going to eventually, rate like this with a tower full of people who like to stick their noses in things.

A good place to meet fellow troublemakers and swap tips.

[Ash]

Yeahhh I'm getting that. I mean, am I old fashioned, or should people at least not be publicly gloating about their illegal activities?

Oooh! Maybe he'll go after Crane though!

Obedience class, puppy bar, same thing.

[Renee]

I've been a company girl since birth, so it all makes my eyes roll. But you'd think they'd at least have that sense.

As long as they don't team up. Then I'd rather him stay as far away from Crane as possible.

I mean, I did the mask thing for a while, and I kinda get it. But this isn't really the sort of case where they're needed. I mean, normal badges have got this pretty well in hand.

Yeahhh Crane does like team-ups.

Why let the normal badges do their job when there's heroing to do?

This wouldn't be anything like Cranes stuff, would it? I mean one psychos out in the city already.

Good point. Out late. Questioning. Actually mostly just destroying evidence. But same thing, right? because I totally know better than everyone else who's trained in crime scenes and stuff or has authorization to be there.

Cause um.... I've got a mask!

I mean, big ominous perp roughing up criminals would be more Bat's territory. Except he doesn't kill usually. This seems more like a local perp or if it's a tesseract thing, some kind of demon or wizard or something.

Well masks make up for all of it. Especially if they're glittery.

You know I kinda miss the days when it was just giant killer robots and not wizards or demons.

I think I'd look funny if my face were glittery. But I'll ask Charlie Vic.

Yeah, at least you know what you're getting into with themed psychopaths and cultists.

Don't let him dig the glitter out of the trash.

Generally yeah. Until it turns out to be a giant plant controlling all of them but you know, happens.

So I guess when I was reminiscing fondly I forgot to mention how annoying he could be.

Does that happen often where you're from? Because it's only about 15% back in Gotham.

He could be... More annoying.

Only the one time I ran into, ill have to ask Shepard if there were any others.

I feel you, Williams. Waking up to a fluffy orange cat butt sitting on your face is pretty memorable too.

Hey you should be glad he's not still glaring at you from afar wondering how long before he can eat your face off.

I think that means it's fair to hold back on being glad just yet.

Besides. Cat butt.

Hey, if you want. I think it's him being nice to you. And you get him all by yourself tonight.

That's only because he insists on sticking his face in mine. You just get the crappy end of the deal.

Uh huh. I think you cat people have a strange definition of the word like. But I'll make sure he's fat and happy for the night so he hopefully doesn't punish me for your absence. Guess we'll have to reschedule dinner, though, huh?

Something tells me you'll do just fine, budding cat-person. But yeah, sadly the red dress is getting shelved for a night.
