Thanks to the amazing brilliance that is Ms Carter, I was able to go to the Donna Karan New York show yesterday, and oh it was so much fun.

I really can't decide what my favorite looks were, but they are all making me want to embrace my inner flowy drapey dress love. I loved the blue on this one and this orange dress sort of made me think of curtains billowing in a tropical breeze. I don't actually know why cause orange is not really a tropical color, but work with me people, it was my first thought. And I sort of wanted to put this dress on the First Slayer, cause it's got the right look, but oh so much better style.

Also, I'm pretty certain I bought a coffee this morning behind Jessica Alba. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty certain it was her and I follow her Instagram so I know she's in New York right now for Fashion Week, so it totally could be her.

Why do I not live in New York City all of the time?

It was quite glamorous, and also just fun! So inspirational, and I feel like shopping my closet now - which, would be more fun if I were home cause it would have more things in it... but I have picked up a few things here, I guess.

I keep browsing the Fashion Week pictures, just for additional inspiration.

It was lovely! I took pics if you'd like to come over and browse them. I was thinking about ordering in pizza and possibly a film, I don't know. As lovely as being out was, I'm ready to stay in for the night.

Yeah, I think I can understand that feeling - it's not exactly a place where you can be a big fish in a small pond. Although having been a big Dawn in a small Tokyo, I'm okay with small Dawn and big New York City to be honest.

Its mostly jewelry but of course! I design and sell pieces at street fairs and the like but I'm actually thinking about setting up a small Esty shop.

Mostly inspired by the Wizarding World since there is interest but I'm adding more as ideas hit.

I do! Mostly sketches but I have sample pieces too.

Yup, that would be me. Still a little freaky to know about the books but the movies only explained things (especially finding out the girl who played me made her own version of my earrings).

I'd love to look at it sometime if you don't mind sharing. It sounds like so much fun. I wish I were creative like that. The best I do is creativity with what hat and what scarf to put together.

I still haven't got over the fact that my entire life is a television show/comic book.

I totally don't mind sharing! Its just the fun of the creative process and finding out after wearing my earrings outside the tower that there is an actual market for pieces inspired by the Wizarding World. But style is too much fun to play with at the same time.

Its still freaky to be honest, I'm more happy one nasty part got glossed over since its less to explain.

There are so many parts I glossed over even when it didn't, but thankfully most people don't seem to ask me about it. Or they seem to think I'm someone from this other show, and that's all right too.

I can't say to know what they're offering down at the ESD, but there may be something there? Or perhaps there's a class being offered somewhere nearby? ...Luna might know! She's into that sort of thing. That could be fun!
