Pansy was looking forward to this dinner date. She had talked to Regina several times over the Network, and had a good feeling about her character. She, like Pansy, seemed to have people who disliked her because she was who she was. People just needed to get a grip and deal with the fact that there were others out there better than they would. Like Pansy. Like Regina.
Pansy looked herself over in the mirror one more time, ran her fingers through her hair and then headed out the door. She loved the outfit she had picked out for the evening. Pansy had discovered New York's thrift stores and she had to admit that she loved them. Only getting a small stipend she had to do what she could to make ends meet. Getting designer clothes at discount prices was one of the ways she was making her money last. She was going to have to get a job soon, however.
She stood next to Morag as Regina opened the door and then smiled as the gift basket was handed over. It was always customary to bring something with you when you were invited over someone's house. At least in Pansy's circle.
"Regina, you look lovely. Thank you so much for inviting us over."
