From reading this I think you're in a good space here. You seem to be happy but most of all you know what you want and you're happy. It is easy like you say to think you're in love with someone because they love you and since you can tell the difference is good for you.

Stand up for yourself and you'll be good. Who knows one day you'll probably meet the perfect person for you.

That's alright, sometimes you just need to write what is on your chest, to get it out so you stop dwelling on it.
