Who: Q and James Bond.
When: Evening.
Where: James's flat.
What: Q is helping Sherlock and needs James's help to do so.
Rating: TBD, but likely not high.
Much as Q had no real desire to ask Bond for help with anything, the man had proven to be surprisingly intelligent of late. And Sherlock had stressed how important it was that they sort this out as quickly as possible, lest more people die. And, as much as morality didn't factor much into Q's life, that wasn't something he wanted. So, having been as stumped as Sherlock by the letters on the reverend's body, he had decided to consult Bond. If nothing else, it might be something so stupidly obvious that, while he and Sherlock would overlook it, Bond would see it. That was the problem with genius. You sometimes missed the easy things. Going the short distance from his own flat to Bond's, he knocked on the door, hoping the older agent was there. He probably should have sent a message first, if only to ensure that Bond wasn't off drinking or fucking his way around New York, but he hadn't thought about it until just now, and it seemed rather a moot point at this juncture. He'd just have to hope Bond was home. |
