Who: Tabby and Open
When: Saturday morning
Where: Pott's Tower Lobby
What: Tabby waits for the perfect victim person to bother on what would be an otherwise very boring Saturday.
Rating: PG-13 for her possible cussing
tick tick tick tick tick It was ten in the morning and Tabby was tapping the face of a watch on the inside of her right wrist. tap tap tap tap tick tick tick tick And it ticked on, the second hand loudly ticking away at her very early start to a Saturday with potential. Well, early by her standards anyway. She had spent most of her time thus far in this world sleeping in and taking to the New York nightlife, which wasn't always as great as some people made it out to be. Half the parties she somehow got dragged into by meeting new people at bars were boring, or full of hipsters, or boring and full of hipsters. The other half were too wild, which was saying something for Tabby. Maybe she was getting old. Ugh, maybe she was maturing or whatever. Gross. So instead of waking up at noon or closer to two, she was up at nine, ready for the day by nine-thirty, and had been sitting in the lobby since nine forty-five where she kept checking her watch and wondering if it lied to her. If maybe it was even earlier and that was why no one was walking about yet. Tabby, much like some kind of blob creature, was laid out on one of the few lobby benches, head tilted back to watch the world pass by upside down. When she spotted a pair of legs she waved them down. "Hey!" She didn't even care who it was at this point. |
