Alec furrowed his brow. "Kurt, if you want to say something, I'm not going to think you're whining or tell you to shut up or ignore you. I do care about ... whatever's happening, you know." He wasn't sure if Kurt really just didn't want to talk or if, perhaps, he was supposed to press the issue. When it was him, he constantly tried to push people away so as not to have to talk about what was bothering him but he didn't know enough about Kurt to be able to make that assumption. "If you really don't want to talk about it, I get it. But if you do, you can talk to me."
Pressing his lips together, he reached into his pocket as his phone dinged with a new text. Magnus, probably, replying to his last text. He silenced it and stuck it back into his pocket—Magnus knew he was at Kurt's right now. "If you like amazing abs, that's a good thing but," he hesitated, biting his lip as he considered his words. "Something's not nothing."
