Hello, Reyna. My name is Susan Sto Helit. I am the Headmistress of the SHIELD Educational Services Division.

Mr. Dedalus has been shifted out of Curriculum Advisor duty, so I will be working with you to determine what direction your education and training should take, and which instructors will be best suited to help you with it.

Could you tell me a bit about your education so far?

A few lost files just appeared on my desk. Add Miss Lily Evans to your advisee list, please. She seems eager to get started.

I am trained in all that is necessary to be a productive soldier of the Empire and a fair leader. That includes military strategy and combat, parliamentary rule, Latin, and Roman history.

Your people favor a practical education, then? Very good. What style of combat do you practice, and with what weapons?

Ordered, disciplined combat.

I favour the spear, although I am skilled in many other weapons, including the broad sword, long sword, short sword, calvary sword, long bow and cross bow.

I imagine you'll want to continue that practice and training, then. I know we have several experts in bow and sword, though I have yet to hear anyone mention the spear.

Regarding your study of parliamentary rule, Latin, and Roman history...do you have an interest in continuing your study of those topics, as well? Or in expanding your knowledge into philosophy and political theory?

I do wish to continue training, yes. They don't need to be able to use a spear.

I doubt anyone here has more knowledge on these topics than what my tutors in Rome have armed me with.

What training do I need to be able to operate in this world?

Confident, aren't we?

I'll speak to some of the weapons expert resources and see who would be available for working with you.

That depends on how different your world is from this one. How much contact did you have with the world outside of New Rome?

I spent six years in Puerto Rico, another six on an enchanted island, and six months running through traveling across the country.
