They're not in a happy boat either, having power over us or not. This is bleeding resources for Stark and causing a lot of unwanted attention. The world only just started really opening up to the supernatural happening here, this isn't our world where it's been happening for decades. This is new. SHIELD and the here-Avengers, they're good people. And they're all that stands between us and what could potentially happen, depending on who starts thinking too much about us.

	Assuming that this is/was unplanned. But yes, I concede that at this point we've got to rely upon more than my paranoia. Until they start putting the X-Men to the side, we can't anticipate it.
