What if your ability is basically being awesome at building things and fixing things? Also just so everyone knows, I'm probably going to get in a lot of trouble because sometimes my fingers like to smoke or randomly be on fire in emotional situations, so...I don't know what to tell anyone. I don't have control over that. Yet?

Also I'm still building Festus. So there.

	One of mine is I can't get electrocuted. And I can run fast. Not like super speed fast like Quicksilver, just fast. But if anyone takes a photo of me with the flash on it shows my aura and I'm still really bad at controlling that. (Reply to this) (Thread)

	Ummmm I guess sort of like the Eevees? There isn't like a way you can change it but to start with we just seem like normal humans and then we start getting powers as we get older and until then no one knows what kind you are. I'm still practically a baby for kitsune but the really old ones are supposed to be able to do all kinds of things. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Lightbulbs exploding is definitely unusual. I can build pretty much anything and diagnose a problem with a car just by touching it. Actually, I could do that with anything mechanical. I can also figure out how it works and mess with it so it works a different way or tell if there's a fault in the metal. I can sense mechanical traps. I can also drive anything. Quality of driving is questionable, but I know how to operate it. But then I'm also one of the only known Hephaestus children actually alive that can control fire. This comes with fire immunity and the ability to sense heat, so it's like thermal vision. Which is neat except when it's not. My crazy nanny (who was actually Hera the whole time) put me in a fire once when I was little. Cause that's what you do with kids, I guess. Apparently trying to get a kid to poke a rattlesnake is also something you do when you're a crazy goddess.

I've got... the electricity stuff, I can use any Japanese weapon, I've got really good reflexes, I can heal faster, I'm starting to be able to make illusions but they're really bad so I'm not really bothering with them until I'm stronger. Most of the stuff books and internet says kitsune can do I'm pretty sure I need to be older for.

Maybe it's just something about being super old. My mom's like nine hundred or something and most of the time she just pretends we're completely normal, and any time she does actually talk about it she's mostly making me get in crazy life or death fights or tests where even if you win the wrong way you still lose and will probably go crazy and die anyway. I really don't get her sometimes.

That's pretty cool. You could probably practice them if you wanted.

I want to say that we don't put ourselves into crazy situations, but we do it all the time. Quests are like impromptu life or death tests. Actually not that impromptu. Like we knew we could die going into it. One of us did, but they were the coolest (some might say the bomb dot com) and came back to life afterwards. So cool. But yeah. Apparently that's a normal thing.

	Maybe carry a lighter with you and convince people you were using it if you get caught? Fortunately most of my powers are pretty controlled and a lot of them just enhance things that normal people do. I may have to figure out a different way to carry my lightsaber though. (Reply to this) (Thread)

I can mess with memories. But it's kind of a grey area and might cause more problems than it's worth. Especially under the circumstances.

This is one of those things that is definitely easier for some of the people here than for others. I haven't minded living and working in the town, but if it's really that much of a problem, I almost wonder if we might be better forming our own community elsewhere.

And generally I'd say no, but there's also the question of what are they going to do to us if we break their rules? Maybe we could figure out some way to sort of hide the Capture the Flag stuff.

Like, at home, we were able to hide the Jedi Academy for a really long time from people, but it does kind of require Jedi who know how to do it. But surely that's not the only sort of thing that could be done and maybe someone knows the magic, or whatever. Like, we could have a field where we do capture the flag sort of magically obscured or whatever.

There's got to be something, cause this is going to be a real drag if we can't come up with it.
