And to think most people have been over that for 80 years. But yeah, yeah, I'll check in with the office to see what positions they have open when I get back. Maybe even check in with the old contacts at the college too.

Well, one of the benefits of being gainfully employed means I have some cash to burn and boy do I love burning it on New York. So, that's not as much a problem.

I can get some pictures together to help you out with that. If it comes to that. We may be back before, kinda playing this by ear, but... it's home, even if it's some other universe's New York. Ok, so, we've kinda had this conversation before. Just a warning so it's not that 'ok, I read your wiki, but how are you that knowledgeable about all this' momentary freak out.

My sense doesn't quite work like yours. It sounds like yours is mine but turned up to eleven considering mine's more 'there's danger'. Still a hyperawareness, but more just this buzz at the back of my skull of 'hey pay attention to THAT thing THERE because it's going to hurt when it hits'. Less just EVERYTHING.

Which isn't saying I can't try and help you out because trying to pay attention to a conversation when it feels like someone is doing a drum solo on the back of your brain takes some learning experience, but man, it's weird how that went different between universes.

It's not weird. Writing on the network means not having to worry about shouting over wind and traffic noise. Win win, right?

And, ok, not going to lie, but yeah. There's a bit of high-strung in there. Not a bad thing, but oh yeah. Plus school. School is just... rough. Because pfft, yeah, homework and tests, but also just classes and schedules and they never really understand that daily schedules and crime don't really agree with each other, let alone having a social life. But we can work on stuff. Go all Karate Kid with the focus sort of thing.

Wait, you don't climb this high? I mean, I guess I never thought of how high we went at your age... Now if I'm in the city, yeah, I go up this high. One of my fav spots. I mean, there's the Empire State Building too but that can be crowded and all.
