I have spent entirely too much time sitting in a movie theater today.

But I like this culture. The warrior lessons yesterday were a good way to get rid of access tension.

No offense, kid, but I find that it's a lot easier to create a mood and make things romantic when your children aren't around. I don't need to be a father to know that. Also don't need to be a father to know I don't have to tell you everything.

That is to say, your mother and I are doing just fine—better than fine—in the romance department. And it includes much more interesting things that flowers and food.

But you're right. There's nothing with dinner.

Listen, if it'll make you feel better, we had a good discussion about it, and made sure it was something we really wanted to do, since she's already done it and I clearly haven't quite mastered the ability to sweep her off her feet. But, we decided there are enough people here who would never been at our wedding that we'd like there that we decided it was worth it.

It might surprise you, but you're among the list of people we are excited to have there.

Well I was trying to be discreet about it, but you didn't seem to be following. Admittedly, Subtlety is not my strong suit. But you probably know that.

Are you sure you don't? You carry lengthy conversations with us both on a regular basis, and went to the effort to send me a message in particular to make sure I was treating your mother right. Sounds like a relationship to me.
