ALUCARD MARESH

I don't want you to worry for even a moment.

I'm not going to choose to go back without you.

As I was focused in my studies, I didn't see the post until I read this. And thank you. We discussed going back a while ago, I know. Still, thank you.

I know, but I was mostly rationalizing it at that point.

I want to stay.

Rationalizing is an important step.

Me too. I am so glad to have you with me.

It is. I still sometimes have to convince myself that I'm allowed to have the things I want.

And if this means we could soon be sure that the portal would not steal us away, that opens up a possibility I've wanted very badly for awhile.

I want you to have all the things you want. As many as are possible and to explore that limitation.

Mmmm, that is something I am curious about as well. We can fully build the life here we want in such case. Is this possibility the one I've had since our first cruise?

Yes, you've guessed my meaning. I want to raise a child with you, or preferably children, that don't have to worry about duty to the crown or politics, that can grow up to be whatever they want to be.

I would especially love to somehow make one ourselves, but I would be happy to adopt, too.

It is so often on my mind, it was not a large leap. Raising Anisa here has only reinforced those desires. We've worked toward most every other goal we have had, and that one too should be ours.

It's theoretically possible, so long as one of us has the appropriate parts the whole time. That was the gist of my conversations with Severus. The difficult part was maintaining that body for nine or more months. I haven't found magic I would trust for it yet. Though, hmm. We may not have the details, but I believe we can overcome that obstacle as well.

I too would love adoption, and we could certainly do both.

It would be ideal if we could find a way without either of us having to change our bodies for that long, but I don't think I would mind it. I know you said you would be the one to do it if we were going to at home, for political reasons, but I do think which one of us could be debated. Or perhaps we could even both do it, though at different times. I don't think both of us pregnant at once would be advisable or even feasible.

There are many options, and we don't have to decide on all of it now.

Lets figure out how we want to do children, what the options are, and which we want to consider using. And with that understanding, we can discuss who may do what. Here, certainly, it does not have to be me for the reasons it would in Arnes. I am excited about this, and I do want to start exploring the possibilities, but that does not mean we need to rush anything. I want to do it right, together.

It's not that I'm opposed to changing my body or experiencing pregnancy. That might actually be wonderful (and uncomfortable, and painful). The other appeal is that the child would be made from both of us.

But there are things about this shape (and your shape) that I would miss, mainly in the way we fit together.
