	That's part of why I was willing to believe him, even though he'd lied to me all that time. I told the Council, but when it came down to it— I made the wrong choice. He's incredibly powerful, powerful enough to hide how powerful he really is, and clever enough to look like he was helplessly manipulated instead of the one behind it all.
