Audrey was looking forward to the festival. It was one of those things that promised to break up the monotony of space. Being on a space ship at first wasn't terrible at the beginning, but the novelty quickly wore off. Being on Naboo was nice and she had enjoyed the fresh air and what it had to offer. Of course, just as they had gotten comfortable, they were back on the ship. The festival promised a nice distraction. Besides, getting a new roommate had been... well, he seemed nice. She had just gotten used to being alone for a while and now she remember what it was like being back in the dorms of college - or what she remembered from the real Audrey's memory of college.

Of course, she hadn't really been prepared for what the festival as really about. She had dressed up for the occasion and now felt strangely... over dressed. She stood beside Duke a little awkwardly. "So... this is new."

Duke chewed on his and wrinkled his nose. He'd take the cabbage over this any day. He took a drink, temporarily distracted as Audrey spilled her drink on her shirt. He was trying not to focus too much on the fact that her reaction to it was just to take her shirt off. It wasn't the first time that he'd seen Audrey in just a bra or even less clothed...technically. And it wasn't like he hadn't worn less in front of her before either. It was just that she somehow managed to always take his breath away and his attention.

"So gross you forgot how to drink, apparently." He chuckled before nonchalantly taking a sip from his drink. He allowed himself another look, not exactly as subtle about it as he might have been if he was sober. Then again, he would be more quick to make a joke about it if he was more sober, so it wouldn't matter so much about it.

"Hey, I know plenty how to drink." She looked at him with a playful pout of a look and then realized her shirt was ruined and she was, well, shirtless. She looked down and let out a lame. "Whoops."

"One second." She stood up and moved over to her little area with the dresser. He back to Duke, Audrey should have just grabbed another shirt. Instead, it seemed like a much better idea to undo her bra and slip out of it before reaching for a tank top and pulling it over her head. Bras were uncomfortable anyways.

She re-joined Duke after unceremoniously. "There, problem solved." Mostly, anyway.

Duke definitely stared. Oh, he hated his life. "Don't think you technically know how to drink right now." Yep. That was what he was going to comment on. He definitely needed more to drink, which is exactly what he did.

"I...should...we are..." Yep. Good words. "If I stay here, I am going to drink more and definitely do or say something one of us might regret." That being said, he got up very carefully. Now he was the Audrey in the situation. "I'm glad you got a dry shirt."

Had she been thinking a little more clearly, Audrey would have probably recognized that something was off with Duke as he stood to leave. As it was, she only got a little inkling, though she did frown as she followed to stay up with Duke. "Are you sure? There's still like -" She glanced back at the table and realized they made a big dent in the collection she had kept in the room. "- Well, some left."

She slipped her hands into the back pockets of her jeans which drew her shoulders back and probably did not help with the situation at all as she tilted her head a little, silently asking 'are you sure?' again.

Duke nodded. "Oh, there's definitely some left, but I think someone is a little more drunk than me right now and I would like to not ruin our friendship, so I'm just...gonna go. And you have no idea how much that pains me to say, but I'd better leave on a good note." He wasn't sure he was all that much less drunk than Audrey, but by his estimate, all he had to do was at least walk some of the way and if he passed out in the hallway, he'd be okay...probably.

"I'll see you in the morning, Audrey."

	Somewhere as Duke had been talking her eyes had drifted to his mouth and she held her gaze there until she heard her name and she looked back up like she was remembering herself. "...Right. Yes. Okay." She smiled, her expression a little muddled for some reason her brain wouldn't connect to. "See you in the morning, Duke." (Reply to this) (Parent)
