Yeah. Plenty of people have done that. But you kinda can't let that keep you from being close to people. Cause that's stupid.

If I'd just been like, "Hey, let's not get involved with someone while I'm stuck in the past" I'd never have actually been in a relationship with someone. Like more than a 'wow, I need a place to sleep and they're okay enough' sort of thing. Like I dunno. I might have stayed in the past for him.

But you know. Like. Finding excuses for why it's a bad thing or a hard thing or a complicated thing don't actually help you. That's just how you avoid feeling shit. And, I mean, sure...it'd be easier to not do it, but you'd probably regret it.
